I’m Yao, a professional audio engineer freelancing on Broadway and in concert venues around NYC. I’m not a professional cook or writer—I’m just interested in systems, frameworks, and how people make decisions under real-world constraints. That interest comes from working in high-performance live environments, studying business, training as a certified MBTI practitioner, and participating in results-based facilitation (RBF) training. Across all of these, I’ve seen the same pattern repeat: good frameworks matter more than perfect solutions. Kitchen Jazz grew out of that thinking. It's not about recipes: it's about understanding how dishes work so you can adapt, improvise, and cook with confidence using what you already have.
